Our Story: The Dream and The Believer

Grind Gear began with a problem: Indian powerlifters were forced to choose between overpriced imports or low-quality local gear that couldn't handle heavy loads.

Aniket Kamble, a competitive powerlifter, had the technical vision to solve this. He knew exactly what athletes needed—the specific thickness of a lever belt, the torque of a knee sleeve, and the grip of a deadlift slipper. But a vision alone doesn't build a brand. It requires resources, strategy, and unshakeable belief.

That is where Vijaya Kamble stepped in.

Recognising the gap in the market and the fire in Aniket’s vision, Vijaya became the first investor and Co-founder of Grind Gear. She didn't just fund a business; she invested in the future of Indian Powerlifting. Her belief turned a rough concept into a fully operational brand, allowing us to manufacture international-standard gear right here in India.

Together, they built Grind Gear on a simple foundation: By the Powerlifter, For the Powerlifter.

Aniket Kamble – The Athlete & Creator

Aniket is the face and the force behind the product design. As a National-level lifter and Maharashtra State medalist, he understands that when you have 200kg+ on the bar, you need absolute trust in your equipment.
